Mama Caro Educational Scholarship - we understand the limitations that students from low-income families face especially when it comes to education. Our foundation pledge to sponsor Senior High School students in Ghana who have gotten accepted into government Universities with scholarships to fund their education.
No matter one's socioeconomic situation, we at Mama Caro Foundation believe that access to education & quality healthcare is a fundamental right that all people deserve.

Mama Caro Foundation is dedicated to empowering the next generation of leaders by providing financial support to talented and driven students who wish to pursue higher education but face financial challenges. Our undergraduate scholarship program aims to foster academic excellence, leadership, and social responsibility. We believe that by investing in education, we are building a stronger, more sustainable future.

Scholarship Details

  • Eligibility: Open to students enrolled or accepted in accredited universities.
  • Fields of Study: All disciplines are encouraged, but preference may be given to fields aligned with our mission, such as education, environmental science, health, and community development.
  • Financial Coverage: Tuition fees, books, and accommodation (up to a specified limit).
  • Renewable: Scholarships are renewable annually, contingent on academic performance.

Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for the scholarship, applicants must:

  1. Be a Ghanaian who is enrolled in or have been accepted into a full-time undergraduate program.
  2. Demonstrate financial need.
  3. Maintain a WASSCE grade between aggregate 6 – 12.
  4. Show involvement in community service or extracurricular activities.
  5. Submit a personal statement detailing career goals and why they deserve the scholarship.

How to Apply

Interested students should complete the application form below and provide the following documents:

  • Proof of university enrollment or acceptance letter.
  • Latest academic transcripts.
  • Financial need assessment documents.
  • A letter of recommendation from a teacher, counselor, or mentor.
  • Personal statement (500 words).

Selection Process

  • Review of Applications: Our scholarship committee will review each application based on merit, need, and commitment to positive social impact.
  • Interviews: Shortlisted candidates may be invited for an interview to discuss their application and future goals.
  • Notification: Successful applicants will be notified via email.
